Goran Vranešević
Goran Vranešević is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana and a researcher at the University of Belgrade and University of Kyoto. His research focuses on German idealism, political philosophy, philosophy of language, and structuralism. He has written and lectured on a wide range of topics, from aesthetics and cultural theory to classical commentaries on ontological issues and speculations on key philosophical concepts. In addition to his scholary work, he is a translator of philosophical texts, notably contributing to the Slovene translation of Hegel’s Encylopedia of the Philosophical Sciences. He is the editor of The Idea of the Good in Kant and Hegel (University of Ljubljana Press, 2024) and co-editor of Between Subtance and Subject: The Presence of Spinoza in Hegel (Brill, 2025). He is currently working on two monographs: one exploring Spinoza’s influence on Fichte’s thought (Cambridge University Press) and another exploring the concept of speculation.
